# Find a Retailer

Tarkett floors were sold through flooring retailers rather than direct. As you searched for a dealer in your area you might encounter a programme logo: it represented a group of wood flooring retailers who were profiled in their geographic areas as leaders committed to providing the most image conscious and fashionable Tarkett products available in the marketplace.

## How the original lookup worked

The locator asked for a city, a state chosen from a list, and a postal code, and the state list had to be used together with the postal code field. Its own search tips were:

- If you don't find a retailer in your area, broaden the search by using the state list alone.
- Using the first few digits of a postal code narrows the search to other cities near your location if there isn't a retailer in your own city.

The lookup ran against a server database that is no longer part of this site, so it appears here as a description rather than as a form that could not return a result.
